Construction law in Poland

Construction is very often associated with considerable financial risk, that may and should be managed and addressed on both sides – the investor and the construction company. In any transaction with so many variables, it is particularly important to have the benefit of legal advice in order to manage the risk involved in any construction project.

We can help with the following matters:

When the beginning and end of a matter are clearly defined, for example in cases such as obtaining a building permit or giving an opinion on a contract, our costs are usually fixed.

In relation to disputes concerning construction works (e.g. unpaid invoices for construction services, defects in the construction process), it may be difficult to calculate the fee as these type of cases are time-consuming and very often unpredictable. In such cases, we either use hourly rates, or staged budget estimates, where we present rates for specific steps in the case. Usually, we ask you to pay 1,500.00 PLN + VAT to cover the first few hours of our work.
