Legal advice and contracts with clients

Our work is provided to you based on the documents that from our Clients ’ contractual relationship with our firm. These are: our General Terms and Conditions, where we will present general rules that guide us in our work; in cases that are continuous / repeated (where the end of which cannot be predicted) – you will also receive our contract for legal services.

Protection of personal data, confidential information:

  • Law firms, in the course of their business, gain access to materials that are inherently confidential. Obligation to protect personal data and information obtained from the Client is the central to every law firm.
  • We protect this information by limiting access of our staff to this information, as well as secure method of delivering these documents, storage, and destruction.
  • Detailed conditions for the processing of information, storage and its destruction can be found in our ‘General Terms and Conditions’, which we provide to each of Clients before we commence our work.
  • At the Client’s request, in more complex matters, we use different and more customized methods and channels of communication or storage of our Client’s documents.
  • Please discuss your needs in this regard with the lawyer handling your case, before you engage our services.

Corporate Social Responsibility and Pro-Bono Activities

Responsibility for access to justice is enshrined in the ethical codes of all lawyers.

As part of our practice, each of us devotes up to 30 hours a year to aiding ‘public good’ (without remuneration).
In addition, each of our lawyers has an option to devote up to 10 hours of our work to Clients in need. This include up to 10 hours that can be done to each client at significantly ‘reduced’ fee.

Individual lawyer makes decisions about performing such work, independently – taking into account the needs of Clients and benefit this can bring to their cases. This type of assistance is usually rendered to unprivileged members of our society, whose legal interests is at stake.

Our Pro-bono activities in Poland are also carried out for non-governmental non-profit organizations.

In addition, our lawyers regularly provide free legal assistance as part of the “Days of free advocate days” organized by the bar associations in Poland.

We impose conditions of the storage and return of documents in the client's matters are provided to our Clients in our 'General Terms and Conditions', which we provide before the we commence of our work. At the Client’s request, of course, we can present more tailored conditions for the protection of sensitive information – if it's dictated by the client's interest.

We also take active steps to prevent likelihood of the conflict of interest in the course of our business. We check and verify that we have not acted for your opponents before you engage our firm to act on your behalf.
