We do not provide legal assistance regarding the financing of the project, but we cooperate with accounting advisors who can help in this respect.

Our costs are calculated based on the complexity of the task, our commitment and the level of responsibility we assume. In the case of a one-off task, such as giving an opinion on a contract or helping in the process of preparing an offer, our costs are usually fixed. Our fees start from 1,500.00 PLN + VAT, for the first few hours of our work (that is approximately 320 Eur / US Dollars). Details and scope are agreed individually with each client.

In matters where the end of our involvement cannot be precisely determined, we use either hourly rates or calculate a staged fee where we present rates for a specific step in the case.

For those of you who face a dispute over the law of new technologies, we always recommend alternative methods of dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation or arbitration) whenever possible. This may end in a settlement or arbitration award, which is usually cheaper – and trite to say – may end in desired outcome more quickly.

  • In partnership with lawyers from great Britain, we advised on the offer to design a kernel of a software enabling monitoring of human traffic, at one of the airports in the UK, by a Polish IT company;
  • We advised a software-house producer from London in a dispute with a Polish Client regarding the ownership of the kernel of a software that converts speech to text;
  • We represented the client in the cybercrime dispute. We represented a Canadian Client in the case of theft/redirection of a money transfer using new technology;

By way of brief background – lawyers from Ontario (CA) have obtained for our client numerous safeguards regarding the disclosure of documents against numerous entities and a security, which, after appropriate recognition by the Polish courts, have been taken into account by Polish banks;
